My career objective is to work in the area of Environmental Law dealing with Hazardous, Chemical, and Nuclear Materials. I am also interested in working in the area of intellectual property, including computer and cyberspace law and technology transfer.
My experience includes internships with The Department of Energy's Office of Environmental Management. I dealt with the intergovernmental issues of cleaning up former defense plants that produced nuclear materials.
I also worked as a Hazardous Materials inspector for Ohio University.

The following is a compilation of academic papers I have written over the past couple of years: they are of a varied background and length.
The Long Term Disposal of Spent-Nuclear Fuel; This paper deals with the repository of nuclear materials in underground waste repositories and focuses on the proposed Department of Energy site at Yucca Mountain Nevada.
Since I am a history fanatic I have authored many papers dealing with historical issues.
McClellan and the Strategical Use of Jominan Tactics;
deals with army strategy used during the American Civil War.
German Faults Leading to The First World War,
is a paper that points singular blame at the German government and military staff for the outbreak of WWI.
The Holocaust remains a hot topic for discussion; but the torture endured by Holocaust victims is little discussed. For a topical paper on this subject see Nazi Medical Experiments

I also have a background in speech and rhetorical issues. To learn about how the First Amendment and Hate Speech are interwined read The Rhetoric of Hate Speech.
Many cult and fringe religious groups have been fighting to recieve tax exempt status with the Federal Government; The Rhetorical Methods of Cult Organizations
deals with common communicative techniques used by cult organizations.
If you are interested in cross-cultural communication African-American Rhetoric,
is a good introduction to this topic.
For reading on American political theory, see American Individualism

Capital University Law School Information
The following is an excerpt from the Princeton Review:
Bigger and better things are undeniably in the future at Law School, and the students we polled were buzzing with excitement. At the beginning of the 1997 academic year, the Law School will relocate to a "very large," newly renovated building in dowtown Columbus,"two blocks from the Ohio Supreme Court." This new facility will provide more than 140,000 square feet of space for "state fo the art" classrooms, library, and student services.
On the academic front Capital's course of study is largely traditional. Course offerings are supplemented by the highly regarded clinical and externship progams, which make good use of the school's downtown location.
Among the most interesting of these programs is the innovative "Night Prosecutors Program," which allows students to mediate, under attorney supervision, compaints brought by area residents against other residents. The Universtiy also supports the Center for Dispute Resolution, which produced a significant international "first" when it helped train personnel for and institute non-litigious methods of resolution at a natioal level in Jamaica.
"Legal writing is strong," and Capital also offers joint degrees in taxation and business. Students applauded Capital's "pleasant learning environment" and "very solid" legal education. According to some, the faculty is "intelligent, insightful, and extremely helpful." Said one 1L: "Professors are not as intimidating as I expected 1/4 of the profs here are very personable and often funny."
Students reported that the administration "cares," and that even the "wonderful financial aid department" is "organized, helpful, and knowledgable." Ultimately Capital's greatest stregth may be its "ability to produce strong, intellectual, and well prepared lawyers." For evidence of this claim, look no further than the Ohio Bar passage rates where you'll find Capital "consistenly at or near the top."
The vibrant city of Columbus, with its strong economy, is a "booming center of banking, inurance, and other service industries." Asserted a 1L, "our weakest area is that we're consistently underrated by law school reviewers." Agreed another 1L:"Capital is a diamond in the rough. I feel I'm getting a beeter legal education here than I would elseware."
